Our cabin in the mountains is located at the summer pasture which belongs to the farm. The farm animals were moved up to the mountains in the summer. Here the cows were milked, and the milkmaids lived and worked there for months at a time.

A wonderful place in the winter as well as the summer

Facilities

There is no running water or electricity in the cabin. Fresh (the best there is), drinkable water you collect in the nearby river, and light is provided by candles. The cabin has one bedroom with two beds, a small living room with a wood stove and one bed, and an entrance with a bunk bed for kids, just below the ceiling. There is an out door toilet attached to the barn.
